Fast growing financial institution, Universal Merchant Bank (UMB) has rallied massive support for this year’s McDan open tennis championship which ended on Saturday.
Last Friday, the bank made a special cash (undisclosed) presentation to the organizers of the tournament at its Airport head office, Accra.
Director of Marketing and Communication, UMB Yvonne Botchwey said at the press briefing that her outfit’s core value of speed which has a link with tennis informed their decision to come on board.
Jeffrey Odame Yeboah, head personal banking pointed out that the support was aimed at rallying behind headline sponsor the McDan Group in its quest to raise talents to compete at the highest level.
Tournament organizer Nathaniel Attoh, who stood in for Dr Daniel Makorley and the Ghana Tennis Federation thanked the bank profusely for the financial push.
Meanwhile, all is set for the commencement of the competition which also has GMPC, Cococbod, WEST Security and Rush Energy Drink as sponsors.
