Executive Committee member of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kwaku Eyiah, says the Ordinary Congress of the GFA has delayed because their books and financial dealings are yet to be audited.
The Congress, when it is finally held, will seek to reflect on the past season as well as ratify the demotion and promotion of clubs from the GHnana Premier League and Division One League.
“Before we can go to Congress, we need some documentation in place, and one key area will be on the issue of finance.
“You need to have your audited accounts and send them to the members of Congress. Without your audited accounts in place, it will just be about teams promoted and demoted, but then that is not what is required.
“Because it is an ordinary congress we definitely need the audited accounts. We will get all the documents done soon enough for us to have congress,” he added.
