Italian Serie A side Udinese have confirmed their interest in signing Sulley Sariki Muniru, the younger brother of AC Milan midfielder Sulley Muntari.
According to the club’s Portal, Udineseblog, the 22-year-old who plays for CFR Cluj in Romania is their number one winter transfer target after watching him several times in the Romanian league as well as the Europa league.
The midfielder, who signed a two and half year deal with the Railway Men in 2013 has been one of their outstanding players, prompting other clubs to be on alert.
Genoa are also reportedly interested in him. Both Genoa and Udinese have had a tradition of signing young Ghanaian players in the past years.
