UD Levante sharp shooter Emmanuel Boateng has envisaged a stern clash against Valencia in the Spanish Laliga on Sunday.
The former Charity Stars hitman opened his goal scoring account for the Frogs over the weekend during their 2-2 stalemate with giants Real Madrid at the Estadi Cuitat de Valencia last Saturday.
The draw against Los Merengues extended Juan Muniz’s side winless streak to six games but the in-form Ghanaian poacher is looking forward to extricate their abysmal run against Valencia in the Derbi valenciano despite admitting it will be tough.
“Against Valencia, it’s really going to be a tough game because it’s a derby game,” Boateng said in a video interview released by his club.
“For what we did against Real Madrid, if we play the same game or we play more than that, I think we’ll win.”
“And I believe we can win against Valencia because with the determination [with which] we played against Real Madrid, I think we can win against Valencia.”
Boateng joined UD Levante on a three-and-a-half-year-deal from Portuguese Liga NOS side Moreirense prior to the ongoing campaign.
Levante sits 17th position on the league standing with 20 points after 22 games.
