Ex-Medeama coach Tom Strand is close to joining giants Hearts of Oak in a sensational swoop for the Swedish tactician.
According to sportsobama, the 33-year-old will arrive in the country in the coming weeks to firm up a deal to take over the Phobians.
Strand has been a long-term target for the Accra side since his days at Medeama and has been hugely tipped to replace interim coach Yaw Preko.
The former Bechem United gaffer went missing following Medeama 3-1 defeat to Mamelodi Sundowns in a Confederation Cup match in May this year.
He has enjoyed an extensive holiday in his native Sweden and appear reinvigorated for the top job in the Ghanaian capital.
Strand joined Medeama in December 2014 and led them to an 11th-place finish in the league last season.
