Black Stars Captain, Asamoah Gyan, opines today’s friendly with the Bafana Bafana of South Africa is going to be an interesting one considering the quality of players in both teams.
Both teams were held in goalless drawn games in their respective 2018 World Cup qualifier openers and this friendly will serve the purpose of preparing the teams for next month’s second round of match in the qualifiers.
In a pre-match presser, the leading goal scorer of the Black Stars said: “This friendly will be an interesting one, because of the quality both teams possess but they will have their amazing fans behind them, but I think it will still be a balanced game and the better side will win.”
He added: “We feel at home whenever we are in South Africa, the fans have supported us in most continental matches, but today’s game is a tough one but let’s see what happens.”
The friendly match is scheduled to kick-off today at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban at exactly 17:00 hrs GMT.
