Ghana’s Black Stars were held to a goalless draw by minnows, Comoros in the first leg of second round of African qualifying to the 2018 FIFA World Cup on Friday.
The Black Stars who were overwhelming favorites before the game, in the end had to even thank the brave but competency of an assistant referee who ruled offside a ‘goal’ scored by the islanders late in the game.
Comoros have still yet to win an official game in their history but the terrific result against the 4-time Africa champions is one that could be celebrated on the island for many years to come.
Ghanaian fans though were not happy at all with the output of Avram Grant’s men and took to Twitter to express their misgivings about the result. Below are a few:
This black Stars players deserve some lashes, herh! Comoros sef u nt fit score them, dem dey give u $5,000,00 u say u nt go claim.. mtcheew!

The black stars players and coach do nothing for the money they're paid.

I hope people know the Black Stars only get paid for wins. Our $10,000 should be safe.
