Swansea City are reportedly closing in on the signing of Marseille winger Andre Ayew before Monday’s transfer deadline.
The Ghana international, who appeared for his country at the last World Cup, has been linked with a move away from the French club during the close season.
Despite winning their opening three Premier League matches, Swans manager Garry Monk is still keen to add a couple of his players to his squad, and the 24-year-old is understood to be his top target.
Now entering into his fifth campaign with L’OM, Ayew has scored 49 goals in 166 appearances for the club.
QPR have already made an official offer to Marseille, while Swansea are considering making one.
