Banished duo Sulley Muntari and Kevin-Prince Boateng have no future with the Black Stars with the appointment of Kwesi Appiah as head coach.
The two internationals were expelled from Ghana’s camp at the 2014 FIFA World Cup finals for gross misconduct and violent behaviour.
Boateng was accused of insulting Appiah in the full glare of his teammates at the tournament.
He has been in fine form for Spanish La Liga side Las Palmas where he has scored eight goals in 23 appearances.
Muntari slapped a Ghana FA official Moses Armah without any provocation during discussions over the delayed payment of appearance fees.
The 32-year-old returned to active football in January and has been a regular for struggling Serie A side Pescara.
Appiah, who has been handed a two-year deal, will avoid confrontations with players during his second spell.
He will work with players with decent disciplinary records and ready to obey his instructions.
