Ghanaian striker Emmanuel Boateng has eulogized UD Levante coach Juan Muniz for helping him settled at the club.
Boateng joined the Frogs on a three-and-a-half-year-deal from Portuguese Premier League outfit FC Moreirense at the start of the season.
The 21-year-old initially struggled to churn out game time and was mooted to be pondering about his future with the club prior to the January transfer window.
But, the speedy hitman’s fortune with the team drastically turned during the January period, starting as the leading forward in four out of seven games.
Boateng continued his fine form for the team over the weekend by netting in their 2-2 draw with Real Madrid at the Estadi Cuitat de Valencia.
“When I came I had some difficulties because it is really difficult to adapt in La Liga because it is one of the biggest leagues in the world, he continued, “but the coach talked to me a lot and helped me.”
“Now I think I am used to how they play so I am really happy and hopefully I will get a lot more chances to play more here.”
He is expected to keep his place in the team when they take on local rivals Valenciain Week 23 of the Spanish Laliga on Sunday.
