Bechem United goal 0.poacher, Ahmed Simba Touré has shown his soft-spot for Asante Kotoko by wishing them good luck in their premier league opener against Liberty Professionals on Sunday.
The Burkinabe striker, who first joined the Porcupine Warriors in the 2007/08 season, where he registered fourteen goals from twenty-five appearances before returning to the club in the 2011/12 season but left acrimoniously, has always expressed his affection for the club.
And as the club are preparing to face Liberty Professionals in the 2017 premier league opener at the Baba Yara sports stadium on Sunday, the 29-year-old has wished his former side to triumph on the day but quell any notion that he’ll be returning for a third stint.
“I wish Asante Kotoko the best of luck in the Liberty game. They’re part of my life and I’ll always wish good things toward them,” Touré exclusively told FootballGhana.com
“I pray that this season they can wrestle back the league title they lost two seasons ago. I’m not going back to Kotoko, I focus only on Bechem but good luck for them this season.”
