Director of Accra Great Olympics, Fred Pappoe says supporters of the club should stop lambasting player-coach Godwin Attram.
The angry supporters of the club have consistently called on the management of the club to show Attram the exit following the club’s failure to record single win in six matches in the ongoing Ghana Premier League.
Olympics are rocked bottom of the league table after amassing just two out of a possible 18 points in 6 games.
However, Pappoe believes the problems can be fixed because he sees such problems as normal with team so they would have to be serious in solving them.
“Attram is not the issue. No one is to blame. We must resolve to solve the problems confronting the club. Our forwards need to put the balls at the back of the net.
“They must score. Our defence must also avoid letting in goals. We will ensure that Olympics stays in the league.
Pappoe indicated that Attram’s decision to play and still manage the club, has no negative Accra based team.
“Attram’s decision to play and coach the club has no negative bearing on the team. When we were playing in Division One, he was playing and managing the club and we won matches.
“He takes instructions from the assistant coach when he is playing. And there is no problem with that at all. They are professionals so they understand the structures.
Olympics play Inter Allies Wednesday their week 7 midweek fixture at the Accra Sports Stadium.
