Aston Villa manager Steve Bruce has spoken about the unique importance of Albert Adomah to his team.
Adomah,30, has been the talisman for Villa for much of this season as he has weighed in with 130 goals so far.
The Ghana international missed the side’s 2-0 defeat at Fulham due to a hamstring injury – a situation which has been largely attributed to the setback.
The goals and assists of the African has single-handedly earned Villa a staggering 19 points and manager Steve Bruce speaks highly of the importance of the Ghanaian and teammate Grealish.
“For me they (Adomah and Grealish) have been the catalyst in terms of what we have achieved, with the penetration of Adomah and scoring the goals and then Grealish in the middle of the pitch.
“It’s the creativity we lacked (on Saturday) and that penetration which we have had in abundance over the last few weeks. We were dealt that blow and weren’t able to cope with it.”
