Kwame Amponsah Karikari, the Ghanaian striker, has been signed by the Ukrainian Premier League giant Stal Kamianske on a two-year deal, according to the local media reports.
The 24-year-old finalise the deal just before the closing of the summer transfer window on Wednesday. The Ghanaian player leaves the Norwegian side Haugesund due to lack of playing time and now has joined the struggling top-flight side in Ukraine.
Joop Gall, the Stal’s Dutch manager, has been a great fan of the former Inter Allies striker and confident that his inclusion will boost the morale of the rest of players and increase the performance of the team as well.
Amponsah Karikari had some spells in Sweden and Turkey and was also linked with the Irtysh Pavlodar in the Kazakhstan Premier League.
