Black Stars second assistant coach Maxwell Konadu has taken his working tour of Spain to the doorstep of Deportivo Alaves midfielder Mubarak Wakaso.
Konadu had already visited Levante forward Emmanuel Boateng and Atletico Madrid star midfielder Thomas Partey, with Wakaso becoming the third player he is visiting.
The visit is part of strategies by the technical team of the Black Stars to monitor the players and interact with their clubs to forster a cordial relationship between the clubs and Ghana.
Wakaso who has seen a tupsy-turvy season at Alaves is one of the influential players of the Black Stars and the visit is believed to have excited the player and his club.
On similar visits, first deputy coach Ibrahim Tanko is on a visit to Germany and Holland to monitor and interact with some of the Ghanaian players there.
Both coaches left for their working duties after head coach Kwasi Appiah has embarked on a similar tour in the UK where he met Jeffery Schlupp, Christian Atsu and Daniel Amartey.
Ghana will not be at the 2018 World Cup but the technical handlers are looking to build a side capable of conquering Africa during the 2019 AFCON to be hosted in Cameroon.
