Hearts of Oak team manager Sabahn Quaye believes there is no quality striker in the domestic league like Asante Kotoko’s Saddick Adams.
The Phobians have been light in attack following the departure of Kwame Kizito and Thomas Abbey, who was their top scorer last term.
Many advocates of the club have charged the team’s management to augment their attacking front before the start of the campaign.
“Hearts of oak are not signing forwards to bolster their attacking options,” he told Fox FM.
“I don’t agree with those blaming Hearts for not signing a striker, who are the strikers in this country now?.
“The only good striker in the country currently is Saddick Adams (of Asante Kotoko.”
Adams scored a historic hat-trick against Hearts of Oak last year in the MTN FA Cup final, where Kotoko beat Hearts 3-1 to clinch the 2017 FA cup trophy.
