Unilever Ghana Limited through its Rexona deodorant and anti-perspirant brand has outdoored the ‘’Be The Next Champion’’ campaign as part of its partnership with English Premier League giants Chelsea FC.
Mid-last year the Blues entered into a partnership deal with Rexona with the aim of having significant impact on the lives of footballers in Ghana and across the continent.
The “Be the Next Champion’’ campaign seeks to discover and nurture football talents of whom will be chosen to represent Ghana in the African 11 team to play against Chelsea Legends.
The lucky winner will spend a day training with Chelsea Football Club coaches at the team’s training ground in Cobham.”
Former Ghana midfielder and Chelsea legend Micheal Essien, who is the Brand Ambassador for the campaign, expressed his delight to be part of the initiative.
‘’I am happy to be part of this Rexona and Chelsea partnership, I am very happy to be the Ambassador to promote it,’’ he said.
‘’Chelsea is the biggest club in Europe at the moment and to be part of it is such an honour, I’m glad to be part of the generation that put Chelsea where it is today so it’s a blessing,’’ He added.
The competition will begin in May and end on 21st July 2018. Apart from the two ultimate prizes, there are many exciting prizes up for grabs; autographed memorabilia as well as Rexona hampers, jerseys, headphones, water bottles and soccer balls.
