Ghana’s dynamic winger Andre Ayew could be heading to Loftus Road in the coming days as Queens Park Rangers Football Club plan an £8 million bid, according to reports from L’Equipe, the french sports newpaper
The 24-year-old impressed for Ghana at the World Cup this summer, scoring goals against Germany and the USA in an otherwise disappointing campaign for the nation.
Previously linked with a summer switch to Liverpool, Ayew’s 300,000 Euros monthly wages have been a major headache to the Sade Velodrome outfit, who are bent on selling him to cut cost.
According to L’Equipe, Ayew to QPR is almost a done deal and the contract could be completed by the close of the week. Officials of the English side believe he will be a like-for-like replacement for his former Marseille team-mate Loic Remy who is heading to Newcastle.
AC Milan, Newcastle, Napoli, Inter Milan, Swansea and Leicester City are also interested in the Ghanaian star.
