Hearts of Oak head coach Frank Nuttal has praised the efforts of his players in their 4-2 win over Bechem United in Week 10 of the Ghana Premier League.
The Phobians raced into a three-goal lead, conceded two but scored a fourth from Cosmos Dauda to get all the points and move to 5th on the league table.
Nuttal said after the match that his players put up a good fight on the day to get the victory as a response to their 1-0 loss to Berekum Chelsea from the last round.
“It was a really good response from the players after the disappointing result in Berekum. The reaction from the players was professional.
They were always going to be under pressure in the second half especially as they had scored three times in the first half.
I learned that Hearts had not scored four goals in a league game in 40 matches so the players had to work hard.
Huge credit to the players for making history and I think they deserved the win.”
The victory was Hearts’ fourth at home this season they face AshantiGold next before taking on Elmina Sharks, Bolga All Stars, WAFA and Liberty Professionals before the end of the first round.
