Ghana Premier League defending champions Aduana Stars are likely to be granted permission by the Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) to use the Nana Agyemang Badu II Park for their group games in the Confederation Cup.
The CAF inspection team recently visited the facility after the Fire Boys had progressed to the group stage of the competition and reports are that they were impressed with the state of the facility.
Reports in the media had pre-empted that the Dormaa Ahenkoro-based club were to choose a different venue as the CAF Inspection Team had kicked against the venue.
But insiders tell Ghanasoccernet.com that fans of Aduana Stars could be handed an opportunity to watch the side at home when the play in the Confederation Cup.
A 7-3 aggregate win over FOSA Juniors of Madagascar qualified Aduana Stars into the group stage of the competition.
Aduana Stars will play Asec Mimosas of Ivory Coast, Raja Casablanca of Morocco and AS Vita Club of DR Congo in the group stages.
