The head coach of the Black Stars of Ghana, Avram Grant says his target is to qualify Ghana for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
Ghana failed to grab first win in the ongoing FIFA World Cup qualifiers as they drew with the Cranes of Uganda in Tamale.
According to the Israeli trainer, his side will gain one of the slot for the 2018 Mundial to represent Africa.
“One of the reason that I came here is to understand why from this talent, the achievement is not the same like the talent,” he told Starr FM.
“Our target is to do a lot of good things to be on top of the World. I was in the qualification to the World Cup with Israel, even we were a small team, we miss it only with two goals even when we had France, Switzerland and Ireland.”
“Now it’s in Africa and I am in Ghana and that is what I want.”
Ghana will face the Pharaohs of Egypt in the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers on November 13.
