Asante Kotoko Coach Dzravko Lugarusic says he expects more from his strikers in the ongoing Ghana premier league.
The former Ashgold trainer has signed a two year deal with the Porcupine warriors and has been tasked to ensure Kotoko return to Africa inter-club competition next season and also win the Ghana Premier League and other domestic trophies.
Kotoko are joint league leaders with Aduana Stars on top with superior goal margin.
They have scored seven goals and conceded three in eight games but Lugarusic want his attackers to be clinical upfront.
“Defensively i am ok but i need a bit of more experience on the front who can help Yakubu”
“But at the moment they are not giving the level of the play Kotoko need”
“We are talking about the quality which people will see and applaud and say ooh what as player that is the key thing”
“Someone who will decide the nature of the game by putting balls at the back of the net when the game is very tough”he told reporters
