Former Hearts of Oak goalkeeper’s trainer Nasamu Yakubu believes his exit will not affect the Phobians in the upcoming season.
Yakubu who cited “mistrust and poor management decisions” by top officials of the club as his reasons to leave on Thursday, is the latest member of the club’s technical team to resign a few days after the resignation of interim coach Yaw Preko.
“We did not plan coming to Hearts together so we cannot plan to go together,” Yakubu told Starr Sports.
He added: “It’s just coincidental and I am too tiny for my resignation to affect Hearts of Oak.”
Yakubu, who also doubles as the goalkeeping trainer for the Black Stars, joined the club at the start of the 2015 premier league season.
