The Ministry of Youth and Sports has released $30,000 to the Black Sharks towards the purchase of tickets for a 21-man contingent of players and officials travelling to Mombasa, Kenya for the 2016 Beach Soccer African Cup of Nations qualifier.
Reports are that the team would have to fly out on the cheapest economy tickets by next week Tuesday 23rd August.
This is because available flights after Tuesday start from $1,559 per seat (Kenya Airways) to Nairobi, but the team must then proceed to the city of Mombasa at extra cost.
Beach Soccer Ghana officials are trying to raise the additional funds to secure the seats.
