The Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC) has received a gift of furniture from Mobility International to replace the old ones and fittings at the GOC secretariat in Accra.
Presenting the furniture to the GOC last Friday, the Co-Founder and CEO of Mobility International, Muhammad Abid, stressed the need to support the GOC in order to transform sports in the country.
He pledged his company’s preparedness to support the GOC in other ways to raise the standards of the least-financed sports in the country.
The GOC president, Mr Ben Nunoo-Mensah, who received the donation thanked the company for supporting his outfit even at a short notice.
He said the chairs would serve every member of the GOC since it would be used for conferences in the organisation’s Board Room by all sporting federations.
Twellium Industries Limited, producers of Rush Energy Drink, is set to announce a sponsorship package to become an official beverage sponsor of the GOC.
The Marketing Manager of Twellium, Ali Ajami, made the revelation during a press briefing with the GOC leadership and reiterated his outfit’s commitment to support the various sporting disciplines in the country.
