Medeama have moved ahead of giants Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko in the recent African rankings.
The 2016 CAF Confederation Cup campaigners are ranked 25th, according to a 5-Year Ranking by the continent’s governing body, CAF.
The Mauve and Yellows have been the most successful Ghanaian club on the continent in the past five years following their impressive displays in the CAF Confederation Cup in 2014 and 2016.
The Tarkwa-based side featured in the group stage of Africa’s inter club competition two years ago and only missed qualification to the money zone by a whisker two years earlier.

The ambitious Ghanaian side enjoyed a fabolous campaign two years ago where they managed wins over African giants Mamelodi Sundowns and TP Mazembe.
They are ranked ahead of local sides Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko, who have flattered to deceive in the last decade.
Berekum Chelsea are ranked 37th following their heroics in 2012 with no signs of Kotoko and Hearts in the top 40 teams in Africa.
Congolese giants TP Mazembe are ranked first followed by Egyptian powerhouse Al Ahly with Zamalek in third position.
