Diminutive winger Maxwell Baako scored his first goal Karela FC in Sunday’s 2-0 friendly win over Skyy Football Club at the Cosby Awuah Memorial Park.
Baako, formerly of Wa All Stars, curled in a free kick to give the Ghana Premier League new boys their first win in four matches.
Diewisie Taylor was the other scorers for the Nzema-Ayinase based side.
Karela United FC have recorded goalless draws with Ebusua Dwarfs, Dreams FC and Ivorian side Bassam.
Baako is expected to bring his experience from the former Ghana Premier League champions to the debutants.
