Head coach of the Lizzy Sports Academy U13 side Nana Agyemang is confident his side will give a good representation of Ghana at this year’s Dubai International Cup.
The Lizzy Sports Academy emerged winners after beating Dansoman Barcelona in the final of the African edition of the 2018 Dubai International Cup to earn a ticket to represent Ghana at the international tournament this year.
Nana Agyemang who has guided the side to win several international trophies believes this is another stage for them to show what Ghana has to offer the world.
“We can exhibit good youth football to show the talent that abound in Ghana while striving to win the trophy,” he told Ghanasoccernet.com
The Africa version of the tournament was organised by Centa14 Sports and Entertainment and won by Lizzy Sports Academy.
Lizzy Sports Academy will leave Ghana for Dubai on 20th February for the tournament which will start on 22nd and end on 24th February in a fully paid trip by the organisers.
The optimism of Coach Nana Agyemang appears to come from the fact that he guided the side to win the Gothia Cup on three consecutive occasions as well as winning the 2014 Milo U13 Africa Cup and the 2016 Norway Cup.
