Norway-based goalkeeper Adam Larsen Kwarasey is among a number of returnees to the Black Stars squad after head coach Coach Avram Grant named a 23-man team for Ghana’s AFCON qualifying match against Rwanda scheduled for next month.
Wa All Stars goalie Richard Ofori has also been named in the squad.
The two join Cordoba’s Razak Braimah as goalies as AshantiGold’s Fatau Dauda gets dropped. His teammate, Kadri Mohammed, has, however, been handed a call-up for the game scheduled to played on September 3.
The Black Stars have already qualified for next year’s tournament having amassed 13 points so far from 5 games played.
The Rwandans are in second place with 6 points.
