Kotoko goalkeeper Felix Annan is delight to have played a role in his side’s victory over Ashanti Gold in the Ghana Premier League on Monday afternoon.
The 22-year-old stood in between the sticks for the Reds as they secured their third win of the season, thanks to a 64th minute header by Yakubu Mohammed.
Annan on the day played a vital role in helping Kotoko record the victory after making some decent saves to deny the home side from finding the back of the net.
The young goalkeeper who made his third clean sheet of the season feels elated with the win.
“It’s Always Joy When You Win Derby Games Coz It’s For The Fans!Great Character And Thank God For A Wonderful Away Win In The Ashanti Derby,” he tweeted.
The former Ghana U20 goalkeeper has been the number one choice for Coach Zdravsko Lugarosic this season.
He will be in post when Kotoko host Elmina Sharks in their next League game.
