Former GFA Chairman Lepowura MND Jawula says interim Black Stars Coach Maxwell Konadu cannot handle the team as the search for a head trainer continues.
The Ghana job became vacant after Coach Avram Grant announced his departure last month after a poor show at the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon.
There have been calls for the FA to appoint a local coach to lead the team with many calling for Konadu to take up the job after serving in an assistant role since 2012.
But Lepowura MND Jawula insists he is cut for the job at this point in time.
“Most of our former players have proved that they can do the job if giving the chance”
“The likes of Silas Tetteh,Ibrahim Tanko,Marcel Desailly, Samuel Osei Kuffour, and Kwesi Appiah they have all proven it and of course if they get it,perhaps Konadu can assist any of them”he told Starr FM
“Konadu is my former player and i don’t want to debate this but i think it might be too early for him “he added.
