The weekend was very fun in terms of the number of Ghanaian players that registered their names on the score sheet – eight goals scored in total.
There were a quite a few of our players returning from injury. Asumah Abubakar, Thomas Agyepong and Jeffery Schlupp.
Goalkeeper Razak Brimah, Nuhu Kassim and Abraham Frimpong also completed their week with championship medals in their respective leagues.

Jeffrey Schlupp returned from injury to make a cameo appearance for Crystal Palace as they walloped Leicester City 5-0 at the Selhurst Park.
Christian Atsu missed Newcastle United 1-0 loss against the resurgent West Brom side through injury.
Daniel Amartey returned from a month injury to play 45 minutes for Leicester City U23 in their 3-2 loss in the Premier League Cup semifinal loss against Aston U23.
Collins Quaner lasted 59 minutes for Huddersfield in their 2-0 defeat against Everton.
Jordan and Andre Ayew played 90 minutes for Swansea City as they were edged 1-0 at the Liberty Stadium by Chelsea.
In the Championship, Albert Adomah lasted 59 minutes for Aston Villa in their 1-1 draw with Derby County.
Andy Yiadom enjoyed full throttle for Barnsley in their 2-0 win over Brentford.
Caleb Ekuban warmed the bench for Leeds United in their 2-1 loss at Norwich.
Dennis Odoi again enjoyed a super performance for Fulham FC in their 2-1 win over Sunderland – a win that effectively relegated the losers to League One.
Phil Ofosu-Ayeh missed Wolves goalless against Sheffield Wednesday through injury. Sean Clare was left out of Wednesday squad.
In League One, Bernard Mensah was an unused substitute for Bristol Rovers in their 1-0 win over Gillingham.
Daniel Agyei made a cameo appearance for Blackpool in their 1-1 draw with Shrewsbury.
Tarique Fosu and Joe Dodoo were left out of Charlton Athletic squad that defeated Blackburn Rovers 1-0 at home.
Kwesi Appiah made a cameo appearance for AFC Wimbledon in their 1-1 draw at Wigan. Lloyd Sam was not added to Wimbledon squad..

In League Two, Hiram Boateng enjoyed full throttle for Exeter City in their 3-1 loss at Stevenage.
Elsewhere in the lower leagues, Darius Osei warmed the bench for Maidstone in their goalless draw with Halifax Town. Nana Ofori Twumasi was not included in the victors squad.
Kwame Thomas was an unused substitute for Solihull in their 4-1 home loss against Eastleigh.
Nortei Nortey lasted 67 minutes for Dover Athletic in their 2-1 win at Woking. Kevin Lokko lasted full period for the victors but there was no place for young goalkeeper Declan Appau for the losers.
