Ghana defender Jeffery Schlupp made a return from injury to start in Crystal Palace’s painful 3-2 defeat Manchester United at Selhurst Park on Monday night.
The 25-year-old was very enterprising in the game and provided the assist for Palace’s second goal.
He lasted 80 minutes on the pitch before he was replaced by Dutch defender Jaïro Riedewald.
Schlupp completed 22 passes, won one foul made two tackles and a passing accuracy of 72.7%.
Roy Hodgson’s men opened scoring through Andros Townsend in the 11th minute and doubled the lead through Patrick van Aanholt in the 48th minute.
United pulled one back through England defender Chris Smalling in the 55th minute and equalized with a 76th minute Romelu Lukaku low effort.
With the match almost over, Nemanja Matic hit a late screamer to complete rousing comeback.
The defeat leaves Crystal Palace into the relegation zone with 27 points after 29 games.
