Inter Milan youth academy director Roberto Samaden believes the club would have retained Ghana midfielder, Alfred Duncan, if the country had a second-team league.
In Spain and the England, there is a league for reserves of clubs in the top-flight
Samaden laments the situation led to the Nerazzuris losing some promising players.
Duncan honed his talent at Inter Milan but was farmed out to Empoli, Livorno and Sampdoria before finally being sold to Sassuolo.
“With a second team, players like Marco Benassi and Alfred Duncan would have still been at Inter Milan because it would have helped and we would not have lost them,” Samaden said.
