hana Premier League (GPL) side, Inter-Allies, have paid an emotional tribute to their former Head Coach, Herbert Addo, who passed on today.
The 65-year-old died at the 37 Military Hospital after a long ailment.
A statement on the club’s website reads:
“Inter Allies are saddened at the passing of our former Head Coach, Herbert Addo.
Our thoughts are with his family, friends and the entire football fraternity. May his soul rest in peace.”
Herbert Addo picked up the Inter Allies job in the 2013/14 GPL season and led the club to safety after a poor start.
He also led the debuting Inter Allies to the finals of the FA Cup where he was beaten by his former club Asante Kotoko, 2-1.
