Ghanaian international Kevin Prince Boateng has hailed the positive mindset of his Frankfurt team mates and has charged them to keep the team spirit.
The Ghanaian international snatched the winner for Eintracht Frankfurt in the 2-1 win over Leipzig to move 4th on the table.
And the inspirational figure for the rejuvenated Frankfurt side insists their recent performance is guided by the team spirit.
“The most important thing is that we have a we-feeling. You can see it from everyone jumping off the bench when we score and win a game. That’s the way it goes, we have no stinking boots on the team, everyone tries to help the other. ”
But the 30-year-old thoroughbred footballer also knows to whom the team owes their amazing achievements above all else.
“You know that Niko Kovac is a tough coach – and he makes us work hard,”
Boateng points out, stressing that a demanding coach like Kovac is just right for a player like him in a somewhat advanced football age.
“He pushes me,” says Boateng, who has taken the leadership role since joining Las Palmas last summer. He has become on and off the place a key fixture of Eintracht.
