Accra Hearts of Oak have missed out on the chance to sign Inter Allies defender Ibrahim Alhassan after the hard working defender signed a new one-year contract extension.
The Phobians have been reported to have shown interest in signing the 22-year-old defender.
Alhassan who made 27 appearances for the Tema-based club, was elated to have secured an extension with the club despite interests from Hearts of Oak.
“The friendships and connections I have with my teammates make Inter Allies my home,” he told the club’s official website.
“I will continue to give my all for the club and show the guidance and leadership on and off the field.”
Managing director of Inter Allies, Delali Eric Senaye was excited to have kept Alhassan at the club.
“Ibrahim is a competitor and gives his best in every training session and games he plays – his teammates thrive off that, and we are really pleased that he is staying.”
