Ghana coach Avram Grant is unperturbed about the hostile reception that will be handed his side in the 2018 World Cup qualifier against Egypt in Alexandria.
About 80,000 fans are expected to attend this tension-packed match at the Borg El-Arab stadium.
Authorities want to create an intimidating atmosphere and distract the Black Stars who need a win to remain relevant in the qualifiers.
But Grant says that could play to the advantage of his side since he would love the atmosphere.
“First it is good to play against a full house even if they are against you. It’s better. You see the Egyptians I watch some games because there’s a Ghanaian player who plays for Al Ahly and I see there’s no supporters so it’s better So it’s better to play with supporters who are against you than to play in an empty stadium,” the former Chelsea manager said at Saturday’s press conference.
”The atmosphere will be great tomorrow I’m sure. As you know our players play in Europe and they are used to play against supporters but I like it.”
