Former Accra Hearts of Oak Board Member Isaac Tetteh has made a shocking revelation that the misery behind the club’s poor run since 2009 in Ghana Football may be due to the fact that the club has failed to clear a debt they owed him.
Isaac Tetteh affectionately called TT Brothers claims the club is indebted to the tune of over $600,000 by the club with the debt dating back to 2003 and has accrued interest over the period.
Speaking exclusively with Kasapa Sports he quizzed why the leadership will take an irrational decision to fire a coach (Kenichi Yatsuhashi) who was on course to deliver the league title that has eluded the Phobian fraternity for the past seven seasons.
I don’t know why the Hearts leadership will take such a ridiculous decision to fire a coach who was restoring the lost glory of Hearts. Maybe it is due to their resolve not to pay my debt. I think maybe the spirit of Accra Hearts of Oak is trying to tell them to do the right thing. That is the only explanation that can be ascribed to the recent hardship of the club because these are avoidable errors unless you are being pursued by a supernatural spirit.
He also intimated that the debt has taken a toll on his business and he will go every length to get his money.
