Hearts of Oak captain Inusah Musah has told the club supporters to expect a remarkable season from himself and his team-mates in the upcoming campaign.
The stalwart guardsman has been a key figure for the Phobians since joining from Tudu Mighty Jets in 2015 and went on to clinch the Defender of the Year accolade two seasons ago.
However, he was limited to few appearances last term due to niggling injuries and had to miss out on a place in the squad that lost 3-1 to bitterest rivals Asante Kotoko in the MTN FA Cup final at the Tamale Sports Stadium.
The towering has returned to full fitness and rearing to go this season with assured displays in the [email protected] win over Asante Kotoko as well as the GHALCA G-8 tournament where he helped the Phobians to finish second to newly promoted side Dreams FC.
And as the Accra-based giants sharpen their rough edges ahead of the coming season, Musah has assured their fans of a scintillating campaign as they hope to wrestle back the premier league title from Aduana Stars.
“I know I have been troubled by injuries in recent years but I pray I will be fit enough for the upcoming season,” Musah told reporters in the wake of their 1-0 win over Swedru All Blacks in a pre-season friendly encounter on Sunday.
“The club should expect a lot from me, last season I barely played but I promise to give my best in the upcoming season,” he added.
