Reports say Accra Hearts of Oak are ready to open talks with Bechem United for striker Abednego Tetteh.
The Phobians have made Tetteh, who impressed in Bechem’s successful campaign, their top transfer target ahead of the start of new season.
Hearts were offered Abednego last season but decided against signing him due to huge financial demands made by the striker’s representative.
But this time, the top hierarchy of the capital club are willing to snap up the prodigious forward to partner Nigerian-born forward Cosmos Dauda upfront.
As it stands, the only stumbling block to any potential deal is Bechem’s participation in next season’s CAF Confederation Cup. The striker has never hidden his desire to feature for his “beloved’’ club in CAF’s inter-club competition.
Tetteh bagged 13 goals, including hat-trick against Hearts in the just ended league season.
