Aduana Stars defender Hafiz Adams is anticipating a tough battle against ES Setif in the second leg of the CAF Champions League second round
The Fire Boys pipped the eight-time Algerian champions by a goal to nil courtesy Sam Adams at the Nana Agyemang Badu II Park on Wednesday.
The Dormaa-based side must avoid defeat in Algeria next week to book their ticket to the group stages of the competition.
“Even though this isn’t what many were expecting from us, that’s the plan of God. We still have more work to do” he said. “Looking at this game, we couldn’t make use of the chances we had. Definitely, we have to work on it.”
“In our next game, which will be in Algeria, we have to make sure that, we sail through and I believe we should be able to achieve that feet to bring back happiness to our fans,” he ended.
The second leg is billed to come off on Friday, March 16 at the Stade 8 Mai 1945.
