Ghana’s Junior swimming team left Ghana on Sunday afternoon to participate in the African Junior Swimming Championship in Cairo Egypt.
The African Junior Championship which will last for four days and will commence from the 28 and end on the 31st of March 2017.
The Junior swimming team traveled with a nine member team which includes seven swimmers and two technical assistance.
The team is led by the National Junior Team Coach Mr. Jonathan Amoako-Atta and Akosua Boatemaa Baidoo Team Physiotherapist.
Ghana’s Junior swimming team captain Kow Asafuah Jackson will lead the likes of Maayaa Abigediwer Ayawere, Ryan Degraft Ackun, Prince Abdullah Adjetey Sowah, Micheal Ego Kumi, Rebecca Boatemaa Asare and Papa Yaw Poku-Dwumoh to strive for the laurels at the tournament.
The team is expected to return on the 1st of April
