Ghanaian striker Akwesi Asante registered his name on the score sheet for Tamworth in their 2-2 draw with Telford in the English North League at the Lamb Ground.
The Bucks led twice, thanks to Amari Morgan-Smith’s header and Joel Kettle’s own goal.
Akwasi Asante pulled a goal back for Tamworth before Tom Shaw struck deep into added-on time for the hosts to seal a 2-2 draw at the Lamb Ground.
Speaking after the game, Telford manager Rob Edward bemoaned his side’s lack of concentration.
“It comes down to being ruthless in both boxes, like we always talk about,” said Edwards.
“I’m so angry because we didn’t deserve that.
“We should be standing here and talking about three points.”
Telford have moved up to 20th in National League North but are now four points from safety.
“I thought we dominated massive spells in the game,” added Edwards.
“I thought we created more chances, looked more threatening.
“We got the goal to go 2-1 ahead but I’m really disappointed and upset that we didn’t get those three points. Not happy.”
