As close to 12 clubs in Europe are on the heels of Ghanaian striker Abdul Majeed Waris, Goal.com is reporting.
The sensational Ghanaian goal scoring machine with Russian outfit Spartak Moscow spent the last lap of last season on loan at relegated French Ligue 1 side Valenciennes.
Goal’s checks indicate that Lens and Lille from France have remained in touch with the player’s representatives since the beginning of the transfer window, but St Etienne and Bordeaux have recently come charging.
Other interested clubs include Malaga and Granada in Spain as well as Hertha Berlin, Werder Bremen, Hannover and Hamburg in the German Bundesliga.
Spartak Moscow have set an asking price of €5 million for the player and they want an outright purchase, Goal understands.
Waris scored nine goals in 15 appearances for Valenciennes on loan in the second half of last season and was one of the top strikers in Ligue 1.
