Harrison “Affulinho” Afful scored twice for his Tunisian club Esperance in their 3-1 win over Bizertin in the Tunisian Ligue 1 on Sunday.
CA Bizertin took the lead within 28 minutes through Zoubeir Darraji but Esperance showed their determination to stay in the fight and finally the leveled the scores through Iheb M’barki.
The Ghanaian defender Affulinho secured the win for Esperance when he scored his two goals within 4 minutes of each other.
The goals came in the 70th and 74th minutes respectively.
Esperance de Tunis victory over CA Bizertin is the first win of the season for Harrison Afful’s Tunisian club.
The win moves Esperance de Tunis to the 9th position on the Tunisian Ligue 1 table, a position above CA Bizetrin.
The 28 year old defender who is also a member of Ghana’s senior national team the Black Stars dedicated the two goals to his wife and his newly born daughter.
