Ghanaian-born English striker Eddie Nketiah played his first English Premier League game for Arsenal in their 2-1 defeat to Brighton and Hovers on Sunday afternoon.
The young forward was introduced into the game with seven minutes to end proceedings at the American Express Community Stadium.
The 18-year-old replaced Callum Chambers in the 83rd minute of the game.
Goals from Lewis Dunk and Glenn Murray in the 7th and 26th minute respectively handed Brighton all the needed points as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang could only grab the consolation goal for the Gunners.
The young talented forward showed glimpses of sharpness and aptness upfront but his introduction was late to fetch the visitors even a point.
Nketiah was on the bench when the Gunners were humbled at home by leaders Man City by 3-0 but had his time with the side on Sunday.
