Spanish giants Atletico Madrid have announced that Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey has signed a new contract, committing him to the club until June 2023.
Partey has started 19 of his 24 league appearances for Atletico this season. His current deal was due to expire in June 2020.
??⚪ We’re delighted to announce that @ThomasPartey22 has renewed his contract with Atleti until 2023.
The 24-year-old arrived at Atletico in 2011, but made his first-team debut in November 2015 and has scored nine goals in 82 games.
Partey made 10 starts in all competitions for Atletico last season but has seen that number almost triple with three months still to play in the campaign.
