Newcastle winger Christian Atsu was one of several top players who were honoured at the Best of Africa awards ceremony in London on Monday night
BoA awards aims to honour & celebrate the philanthropic endeavours & achievements of footballers of African heritage.
“It was an honour to be recognised alongside some great players last night at the Best of Africa awards. Well done to everyone and thank you to the BOA awards,” Atsu wrote on his Instagram page.
Other recipients on the night included Nigeria/Arsenal forward Alex iwobi, Yanick Bolasie, Wilfried Zaha and Chelsea midfielder Ngolo Kante.
