The Vice President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) George Akwesi Afriyie has reiterated his frustration over the postponement of the Ghana Premier League.
The 2017/18 Ghana Premier League was due to commence on February 9, but a court injunction by Great Olympics halted the whole process after stating that Bechem United used an unqualified player against them last season.
The league starting date was plunged into further delay after the hearing of the case was adjourned to February 21.
The standoff means the delay start of the league will continue unabated until a resolution is reached between the two parties.
This frustrates Ghana FA vice president George Afriyie who would have wished the league had started last weekend.
“It is frustrating, i need to admit that because it is not easy but who cause am? he asked.
“It is one of the things we have to find a way to eradicate from our football because it is not helping.
“As a regulatory body we need to look at our rules and check if there is something we are not doing right, we check and do them because we can’t continue like this.”
